The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has been set up to facilitate the
development of the universities of Pakistan to be world-class centres of
education, research and development. Higher education plays a central role in
the development of both human beings and modern societies as it enhances
social, cultural and economic development, active citizenship and ethical

A programme launched by HEC (Higher Education
Comission) to provide researchers within public and private universities in
Pakistan and non-profit research and development organizations with access to
international scholarly literature based on electronic (online) delivery,
providing access to high quality, peer-reviewed journals, databases and
articles across a wide range of disciplines.
